M.O.M
Reframing “mother’s touch” for a modern food brand.

About the Brand
Meal of the Moment (M.O.M) is a modern food brand built for time and health-conscious Indians, offering smart snacks, meals, and beverage solutions that make everyday eating easier, better and more joyful. Established in 2017, the brand has expanded from ready-to-eat meals into an ever-growing portfolio across 7 categories and 35+ flavours, spanning RTE meals, makhanas, multigrain sticks, oat puffs, roasted nuts, dry fruits and low-cal iced tea.
Problem & Solution
Problem
With multiple brand custodians over time, the brand identity was fragmented, inconsistent and confusing across touchpoints. Awareness existed, but the “mother’s touch” association wasn’t landing.
Solution
M.O.M was rethought from the ground up, listening first, then building. After months of customer conversations, retailer visits, and internal inputs, a clear strategy was shaped and translated into one consistent brand across words and visuals: a sharper positioning, a refreshed visual world without changing the packaging, and a unified design language rolled out across every platform.
Months of on-ground research that included:
-
30+ customer interviews
-
30+ store & retailer visits
-
20+ salesperson interviews
-
Multiple sessions with the leadership team
Tagline Rationale
The positioning is clear: people crave their mother’s food, but competing as a “replacement” for it is a losing game. M.O.M instead aims to remind you of that feeling through recipes, quality processes, and nutrition-first choices that keep the customer’s wellbeing front and centre. In other words, made with a mother’s mindset without pretending to be your mother. That’s why the brand’s promise naturally lands as ‘Straight from the Heart’.

Colour Palette
Because the packaging couldn’t change, the colour palette had to work harder. Built as much around constraint as creativity, it was developed by working backwards from the existing packs.

Brand Bible
The brand bible became the backbone of the new M.O.M, bringing together the brand’s values, personality, positioning, tagline, tone and voice alongside its palette, imagery and design rules in one cohesive guide.
Art Direction & Photoshoot
The visual world was designed to feel like M.O.M itself: warm, friendly and familiar, never clinical or “health brand boring.” A colour-on-colour approach carried one shade from the brand palette through the set, props, styling and frames, allowing the product to stand out while keeping the overall world playful and modern.

Amazon Store
Since Amazon is M.O.M’s biggest selling platform, we made sure it finally looked and felt like the brand. We brought the new positioning and colour world into the Amazon Store, cleaned up the clutter and organised it by need, craving and flavour.

Website
The website was reworked to organise M.O.M’s expanding portfolio into one clearer, more navigable experience. By bringing structure, category logic and the refreshed identity together, it began to feel like one coherent brand instead of multiple product-lines living side by side.

Brand Assets
The refreshed palette, positioning and design language were carried across posters, brochures, in-store units, digital ads and sales rep merchandise. The result was a more cohesive brand presence across touchpoints and clearer proof of what a unified visual system could do.
